These apps are mostly available on Android devices because I am an Android user but they should also be available for iPhones as well. It is during these times that guitar tuner apps become extremely useful! There are a few guitar tuner apps available now and this article will look into some of them. Nonetheless, there are times when you won't have any tuner on hand but still have your phone. Even more impressive are robotic tuners that does all the work for you. Newer tuners can even detects all the strings at the same time, so all you have to do is strum all the strings once and you'll immediately know which strings are out of tune. Luckily, tuning is a much simpler affair nowadays with the advent of electronic tuners. Suffice to say it takes quite a lot of practice and time. Tuning all the other string is then done by ear using the already-in-tune string as a reference. You had to use a tuning fork which usually only works with the E string. Long ago, tuning a guitar was almost an art form. Guitar tuners have long been an essential tool for guitarists.
